Michael Huynh (Founder/Director)

Michael was born and raised in San Jose, CA. He grew up in a family of nine and is the oldest boy in the family. As a Christian, he always had a special love for God. Michael always had big dreams growing up, and one of them was to help others by making a difference in the world. He has always had the heart to help out those in need. After many years of planning, Michael and Chun have decided that it’s time to make it happen. On July 7th, 2007, Hope & Faith Foundation was officially established. Michael's dream is to use the foundation to help out as many people as possible. Most importantly, Michael feels that he is very blessed in life and he would love to share his blessings with the people around him.

Chun Li (Founder/Director/Treasurer)

Chun, born and raised in China, came to the United States in 1995 and is currently living in Seattle, WA. Being an only child, she has become a very strong and independent individual. Ever since she was little, she has always had the heart to help out of those in need. Since living in Seattle, she has been actively involved in many fundraising and awareness events such as the Breast Cancer Walk, the Iron Girl Triathlon, the Cystic Fibrosis Walk, the Aids Walk, and more. She has also volunteered at the Children’s Hospital. Chun has always wanted to be a part of an organization that will help other people. Finally, after years of planning with Michael, they have formed their own foundation. This is the way they feel will best meet their heart’s desire.

Jackie Dunbar (Administrative Executive)

Jackie, oldest of four children, was born in England but raised in Ohio and Michigan. She moved to Washington when she was ten and has lived there ever since. She now has two children and six grandchildren and her family is a very important part of her life. Her church family is also very important to her. She has worked for the Catholic Archdiocese of Seattle for eleven years, while being a volunteer at her parish as an RCIA Coordinator for about twelve years. Jackie met Chun and Michael through RCIA. When Chun and Michael asked her to become a core member of Hope & Faith Foundation, Jackie realized this would be a way for her to live her faith. Jackie’s faith is a very important part of her life, and she has always wanted to be able to help people in need. The Hope & Faith Foundation is one way that she can help.

Kelly Laybourn (Accounting Executive)

Kelly was born and raised in the state of Washington. He grew up as the youngest of three boys, and sought to follow in the footsteps of his brothers until he became a Christian at the age of twenty-one. Once he became a Christian, he recognized that God could take who he was and do great things with his life. He always had a strong desire to look after the orphans of this world. God put that in his heart for a long time. While he was in South Korea teaching, he had an opportunity to visit an orphanage and see firsthand how God is taking care of His little ones. Through this foundation, he hopes to find more ways to reach out to God's little ones and all those in need of hope and love.

Plant a seed of hope and spread love to those in need...

Join us in this rewarding cause and together, we will touch lives!
